Corfu Esplanade (Spianada)

The Corfu Esplanade (called the Spianada) is the pedestrian-friendly greenbelt that runs along the waterfront in Corfu Town.

This urban park contains a cricket ground, statues, monuments and a lovely seaside promenade.

A number of elegant restaurants and cafes can be found on the Liston adjacent to the Spianada.

The Palace of St. Michael and St. George is situated at one end of the Esplanade and the Old Fort is connected to the Spianada by a bridge.
