Plateia Dimarcheiou Square

Plateia Dimarcheiou is a picturesque town square located in the heart of Corfu Town.  It is a popular gathering place and is home to many cafes and restaurants.

A number of famous landmarks are located on the square.  They include the Town Hall (now a theatre), the Bank of Greece and the Roman Catholic Cathedral (Agios Lakovos).
